The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) and the host Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), observed Verdugo Hills's basketball team overwhelm Chavez by a score of 68-28.

The Dons (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Canyon was routed by Saugus (Saugus, CA), 58-52, in a league challenge.
