Florida High School Basketball - Mainland victorious over North Marion

January 17, 2026: Daytona Beach, FL 32114

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Mainland Buccaneers basketball squad scored a nice 52-42 victory over the North Marion Colts.

With the victory, Mainland upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Buccaneers host Timber Creek (Orlando, FL) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Friday, January 23. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 11-9. Timber Creek won 68-65 in their recent non-league match against Lake Gibson (Lakeland, FL)

In their next game, the Colts confront the Hawthorne Hornets (Hawthorne, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 21. North Marion will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 70-63 non-league loss to Bradford (Starke, FL).
