Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Blanchester Wildcats (Blanchester, OH), 58-36 in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, Southeastern overwhelmed Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH), 38-34, in a league match.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Union for a non-league match on Monday, January 19. Blanchester will face a Dragons squad coming off a 58-30 league loss to North Adams (Seaman, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 4-7.
