The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), observed Pershing County's basketball team overwhelm Sierra Lutheran by a score of 54-24.

The Mustangs (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons come into the 2A Northern challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was crushed by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 27-19, in a league battle.

The Falcons now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silver Stage for a 2A Northern battle on Tuesday, January 20.
