The Heritage Patriots basketball team (Monroeville, IN), was nudged 74-73 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN)

The Braves now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington North for a Northeast 8 battle on Saturday, January 22. Bellmont will confront a Vikings team coming off a 68-37 non-league win over Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 9-5.
