Connecticut High School Basketball - Weaver overwhelms Metropolitan Learning Center

January 18, 2022: Bloomfield, CT 06002

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT) and the host Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT), saw Weaver's basketball squad wallop Metropolitan Learning Center by a tally of 69-28.

With the victory, Weaver improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to University (Hartford, CT) to confront the Hawks in a Capitol Region challenge on Thursday, January 20. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. University won 65-47 in their recent league challenge against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT)

Next up, the Dragons confront the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT) in a Capitol Region challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Metropolitan Learning Center will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 63-38 league win over Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT).
