Texas High School Basketball - DeSoto overwhelms Lake Ridge
January 18, 2022: DeSoto, TX 75115 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) and the visiting Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX), saw DeSoto's basketball squad wallop Lake Ridge by a tally of 71-41.
With the victory, DeSoto improves its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Grandview (Aurora, CO) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 21. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Grandview won 68-44 in their recent league challenge against Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Lake Ridge will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 58-32 league loss to Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX).
