Virginia High School Basketball - Buffalo Gap tops Broadway
January 18, 2023: Broadway, VA 22815 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) and the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), saw Buffalo Gap's basketball squad knock off Broadway by a count of 55-41.
With the victory, Buffalo Gap upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Bison host Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA) to play the Indians in a Shenandoah challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Fort Defiance won 55-22 in their recent league challenge against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
Next up, the Gobblers play the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Friday, January 20. Broadway will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 64-20 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
