The Taft School Big Red edged the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

With the victory, Taft School improves its record to 5-6 on the season. The Big Red host Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA) to play the Big Green in a battle on Saturday, January 21. The Big Green come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Deerfield Academy lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against New Hampton School (New Hampton, NH)
