January 18, 2024: Cliff, NM 88028 The Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), 61-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cowboys/Cowgirls (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM). The Grizzlies go into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Carrizozo was trounced by Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 63-22, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Hill for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Maxwell will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 63-22 non-league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.
