January 18, 2025: Maxwell, NM 87728 Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies (Carrizozo, NM), 67-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Maxwell upgrades its record to 14-1 on the year. The Bears travel to New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Roadrunners in a A District 5 match on Thursday, January 23. The Roadrunners enter the match with a record of 6-5.
The Grizzlies now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corona/Vaughn for a A District 3 match on Tuesday, January 21.
