Indiana High School Basketball - Argos nips Pioneer

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Argos Dragons (Argos, IN) and the host Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), observed Argos's basketball team edge Pioneer by a score of 40-35.

The Dragons (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Walkerton, IN). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Glenn was tipped by Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN), 40-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays (North Judson, IN) in a Hoosier North challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 46-41 league win over North Miami (Denver, IN).
