The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes defeated the visiting Triad Knights basketball squad by a final score of 52-36 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Wooden Shoes clash with the Effingham Hearts (Effingham, IL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 31. Teutopolis will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record.

The Knights (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Shells come into the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Roxana overcame Southwestern (Piasa, IL), 37-17, in a non-league outing.
