Nebraska High School Basketball - Ravenna can't hold off Sutton
January 19, 2021: Ravenna, NE 68869 The Sutton Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Ravenna Bluejays to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairbury for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 21. Sutton will battle a Jeffs team coming off a 57-32 non-league loss to Clay Center (Clay Center, KS). The Jeffs record now stands at 7-7.
The Bluejays (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Rebels enter the C2 District 9 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Arcadia/Loup City was nudged by South Loup (Arnold, NE), 58-35, in a non-league contest.
