With the victory, Tempe Prep improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Ray (Kearny, AZ) to confront the Bearcats in a 1A East challenge on Friday, January 21. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Ray won 67-35 in their recent league challenge against San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ)
Next up, the Flames confront the Red Rock Scorpions (Sedona, AZ) in a 2A Central contest, on Friday, January 21. Valley Lutheran will attempt to better on its 0-19 season record. The Scorpions come into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 66-47 non-league loss to Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ).
