McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), 68-13 in a league bout.

With the win, McFarland upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Cougars host Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Brentwood School lost 73-62 in their recent league bout against Windward (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) in a South Sequoia bout, on Monday, January 23. Delano will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 10-7 record after their 54-31 league win over Wasco (Wasco, CA).
