North Carolina High School Basketball - South Charlotte Thunder knocked off by Greater Cabarrus Stallions

The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored 53 points and held the host South Charlotte Thunder Thunder to 39 in the Stallions league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to 1 of 1 Academy Red for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will meet a Raptors team coming off a 65-40 non-league win over Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC). The Raptors record now stands at 7-6.

The Thunder (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Cougars enter the North Carolina Home Education - West contest with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, South Guilford HomeSchool ran past Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC), 63-7, in a non-league contest.
