In Monday's league outing, the host O'Connor Eagles basketball squad scored a decisive 65-37 victory over the Liberty Lions.

Next, the Eagles face the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley outing, on Wednesday, January 21. O'Connor will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 64-15 league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).

With the loss, Liberty falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Lions host Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a non-league outing on Friday, January 23. The Coyotes come into the outing with a record of 7-12. Centennial won 40-25 in their recent league outing against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)
