Randle Lions (Richmond, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX), 60-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Randle upgrades its record to 15-8 on the season. The Lions host Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-17.

Next up, the Chargers play the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, January 5. Fulshear will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 19-6 record after their 52-16 league win over Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX).
