January 2, 2025: Monroe, LA 71203 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Ouachita Parish Lions basketball team scored a big 64-33 triumph over the Loyola College Prep Flyers.
The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bossier (Bossier City, LA). The Bearkats go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Bossier was trounced by Airline (Bossier City, LA), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Flyers battle the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Loyola College Prep will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Crimson Tide go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 72-41 non-league win over Haughton (Haughton, LA).
