Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) boosters exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX), 54-51 in a non-league outing.

Next, the Cranes face the Coahoma Bulldogs (Coahoma, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 outing, on Tuesday, January 6. Crane will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 11-4 record after their 60-40 non-league loss to Jayton (Jayton, TX).

The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos go into the 2A Region I District 7 game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, Sonora nipped Eden (Eden, TX), 52-42, in a non-league game.
