Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), 60-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Mustangs host St. John's (Washington, DC) to clash with the Cadets in a Washington Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 23. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 15-5. St. John's won 78-43 in their recent league bout against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Lions clash with the St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic bout, on Tuesday, January 22. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 77-74 league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD).
