The Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA), 51-48 in Thursday's league test.

The Red Devils (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Pinole Valley got by McClymonds (Oakland, CA), 51-35, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Ygnacio Valley for a Diablo - Valley test on Monday, January 24. Berean Christian will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 74-20 league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-10.
