Texas High School Basketball - Lone Star tops Frisco
January 20, 2023: Frisco, TX 75034 Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 49-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Lone Star upgrades its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Rangers host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to play the Wolverines in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 21-5. Wakeland lost 66-63 in their recent league bout against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)
Next up, the Raccoons play the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Frisco will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-20 record after their 69-63 league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX).
