Horizon Honors Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ), 53-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Horizon Honors upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Pumas in a 2A South bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 4-10.

Next up, the Wolves play the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ) in a 2A South bout, on Tuesday, January 24. St. Augustine Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Dust Devils go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 51-39 league loss to Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ).
