The Blackford Bruins basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Frankton Eagles to 50 in the Bruins league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwell for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 24. Blackford will face a Knights team coming off a 90-22 league win over New Haven (New Haven, IN). The Knights record now stands at 17-3.

With the defeat, Frankton moves to 15-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to face the Indians in a Central Indiana game on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians enter the game with a record of 6-15. Mississinewa won 63-18 in their recent league game against Elwood (Elwood, IN)
