Kansas High School Basketball - Smoky Valley holds off Kingman
January 20, 2023: Lindsborg, KS 67456 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) and the visiting Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS), saw Smoky Valley's basketball squad hold off Kingman by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Smoky Valley improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Trinity (Hutchinson, KS) to confront the Celtics in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Celtics come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Trinity lost 59-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Sterling (Sterling, KS)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Douglass Bulldogs (Douglass, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Kingman will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 57-27 non-league loss to Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS).
