Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeside overwhelms South Cobb
January 20, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30345 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), saw Lakeside's basketball squad wallop South Cobb by a tally of 63-16.
With the victory, Lakeside improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Dunwoody won 38-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Creekside (Fairburn, GA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. South Cobb will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 66-20 league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA).
