The Sacred Heart Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns to 25 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to False River for a 1A District 6 contest on Friday, January 20. Sacred Heart will meet a Gators team coming off a 59-12 league loss to Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Gators record now stands at 2-11.

The Cajuns (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record.
