January 20, 2025: Narrows, VA 24124

The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) and the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), observed Narrows's basketball team knock off Eastern Montgomery by a score of 71-51.

The Green Waves (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers come into the Pioneer challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Bath County was knocked off by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 83-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 46-30 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA).
