With the victory, Tampa Catholic upgrades its record to 14-8 on the year. The Crusaders host Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL) to face the Jaguars in a 3A District 8 match on Wednesday, January 22. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 9-12. Academy of the Holy Names won 56-49 in their recent non-league match against River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL)
The Tornadoes now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tarpon Springs for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Clearwater will face a Spongers squad coming off a 26-21 non-league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Spongers record now stands at 4-10.
