Virginia High School Basketball - Handley overwhelms Brentsville District

January 20, 2026: Winchester, VA 20601

The Handley Judges basketball team scored 84 points and limited the visiting Brentsville District Tigers to 42 in the Judges league triumph on Tuesday.

The Judges now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Millbrook for a Northwestern game on Friday, January 23. Handley will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 61-52 league loss to Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Brentsville District falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hylton (Woodbridge, VA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a record of 4-12. Hylton lost 68-59 in their recent league outing against Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA)
