In Tuesday's league test, the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad knocked off the host Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 66-49.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Desert bout, on Thursday, January 22. Palo Verde will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 80-59 league loss to Durango (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Cimarron-Memorial falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Aggies in a non-league test on Friday, January 23. The Aggies come into the test with a record of 7-11. Arbor View lost 90-89 in their recent league battle against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV)
