In Tuesday's league contest, the host Independence Patriots basketball team scored a big 61-39 triumph over the Glendale Cardinals.

With the victory, Independence advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Patriots host Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Bulldogs in a 5A Central Valley match on Thursday, January 22. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-9. Sierra Linda won 63-59 in their recent league match against Washington (Phoenix, AZ)
