The McAllen Memorial Mustangs routed the host Pioneer Diamondbacks basketball team by a final score of 70-44 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines (Alamo, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 game, on Tuesday, January 25. McAllen Memorial will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 4-15 record after their 68-32 league loss to Sharyland (Mission, TX).
