Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Augustine fells Livingston Collegiate Academy
January 21, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70126 St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves (New Orleans, LA), 50-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Augustine upgrades its record to 13-11 on the season. The Purple Knights host Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA) to face the Tigers in a 5A District 9 game on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 15-5. Holy Cross won 59-56 in their recent league game against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA)
With the defeat, Livingston Collegiate Academy moves to 3-7 on the year. The Wolves host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 1. The Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 7-11.
