January 21, 2023: Chula Vista, CA 91911 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the host Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), saw Steele Canyon's soccer squad triumph over Castle Park by a margin of 7-0.
The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host West Hills for a test on Wednesday, January 25. Steele Canyon will meet a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 1-1 league Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Castle Park drops to 2-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to meet the Red Devils in a test on Tuesday, January 24. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 8-3. Sweetwater won 3-1 in their recent league test against Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA)
