The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) and the visiting Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ), observed Buena's basketball team overwhelm Flowing Wells by a score of 73-23.

The Colts (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nogales (Nogales, AZ). The Apaches come into the 5A Southern challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Nogales was routed by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 85-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Caballeros battle the Pueblo Warriors (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Flowing Wells will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 74-47 league win over Desert View (Tucson, AZ).
