The Newport - Bellevue Knights basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Hazen Highlanders to 37 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now have a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer Island for a non-league outing on Friday, January 23. Newport - Bellevue will face a Islanders squad coming off a 68-63 league loss to Sammamish (Bellevue, WA). The Islanders record now stands at 13-4.

The Highlanders (1-14) will now prepare for their outing against Skyline (Sammamish, WA). The Spartans enter the 4A KingCo outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Skyline was overwhelmed by Issaquah (Issaquah, WA), 45-35, in a league outing.
