The Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) basketball knocked off the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 53-40 in Monday's league test.

The Raptors (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Falcons go into the Southland test with a 4-16 record.

The Thunderbirds now own a 6-18 record. They play next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland test on Thursday, January 25. Thornwood will encounter a Kays squad coming off a 49-20 league win over Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Kays record now stands at 15-8.
