The Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ), 70-29 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Sabercats now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 4A Desert Sky bout on Friday, January 24. Saguaro will play a Knights team coming off a 72-61 league loss to Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Marcos de Niza falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Padres host Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Titans in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Friday, January 24. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Arcadia lost 99-2 in their recent league bout against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ)
