Wisconsin High School Basketball - Fall River crushes Westfield Area
January 23, 2023: Fall River, WI 53932 Fall River Pirates (Fall River, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westfield Area Pioneers (Westfield, WI), 65-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fall River upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI) to play the Hilltoppers in a Trailways - West bout on Thursday, January 26. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Cambria-Friesland lost 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against Oakfield (Oakfield, WI)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Mauston Golden Eagles (Mauston, WI) in a South Central bout, on Thursday, January 26. Westfield Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 83-62 non-league loss to Portage (Portage, WI).
