The Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball edged the visiting Fairfax Christian Cardinals (Dulles, VA), 62-57 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson-Reed for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Riverdale Baptist will play a Tigers team coming off a 65-14 non-league win over Ron Brown (Washington, DC). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Fairfax Christian falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) to play the in a VISAA Division III bout on Friday, January 24.
