The Gaither Cowboys basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Plant City Raiders to 59 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cowboys now have a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Tampa Bay Tech for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 27. Gaither will confront a Titans team coming off a 67-48 non-league win over Riverview (Riverview, FL). The Titans record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Plant City falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Lakeland (Lakeland, FL) to face the Dreadnaughts in a non-league outing on Saturday, January 24. The Dreadnaughts enter the outing with a record of 12-5. Lakeland won 58-44 in their recent non-league outing against Avon Park (Avon Park, FL)
