Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC), 65-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Chester upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Cyclones host Union County (Union, SC) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a AAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 27. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Union County lost 57-49 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, SC)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) in a AAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 27. Woodruff will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 62-51 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC).
