Georgia High School Basketball - North Gwinnett holds off Discovery
January 24, 2023: Suwanee, GA 30024 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) and the visiting Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA), saw North Gwinnett's basketball squad hold off Discovery by a tally of 61-58.
With the victory, North Gwinnett improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to confront the Lions in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Peachtree Ridge won 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Discovery will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 87-59 league win over Berkmar (Lilburn, GA).
