Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), 61-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Choctaw County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Bruce will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 45-27 league loss to Bruce (Bruce, MS).
