Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS), 68-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 22-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 27. Holmes County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 62-38 league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS).
