Iowa High School Basketball - Creston trounced by Kuemper
January 24, 2025: Creston, IA 50801 Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), 99-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Kuemper advances its record to 17-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Lions enter the match with a record of 8-5. Des Moines Christian lost 74-64 in their recent non-league match against Pella (Pella, IA)
The Panthers now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlantic for a Hawkeye Ten match on Monday, January 27. Creston will face a Trojans squad coming off a 64-60 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-10.
