With the victory, Marian Catholic upgrades its record to 18-6 on the year. The Spartans host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to face the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic match on Friday, January 31. The Corsairs enter the match with a record of 8-14. Carmel won 54-38 in their recent non-league match against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)
The Shamrocks now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake View for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. St. Patrick will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 74-66 league win over Amundsen (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-8.
